Stereotyping and Reverse Culture Shock

English Corner Meeting with ICEE at Sanata Dharma University
There are 2 lessons that I've learned with Champ in Grand Tour. They are stereotyping and reverse culture shock.

We did stereotyping to new people we just met is usually happened. But, stereotyping may cause misunderstanding and unhealthy relationship. We need to listen and communicate with new people before we are able to recognize and understand whomever much better than only believing our stereotyping about people.

In Go Home Come Back Chapter, I found many quotations which were related to reverse culture shock. I'm interested with one of them. It came from Heraclitus. "You can not step into the same river twice, because new waters are always flowing in upon you." Now, I change my thought. I am as human being will never stop growing up until I died and I will never be the same person. I need to change myself become a better person day by day because I will face different situation everyday. Time flies, and so do I.
